I’m a licensed professional teacher turned social media & website specialist for home improvement service specialists.
But before you say “That’s a sharp career turn,” here’s a little secret that not everyone knows.
Before shifting lanes to education, my academic journey began with two years in business administration. At that time, while I harbored dreams of becoming a professional singer (yeah it was a long traffic in my head as I thought it was my destination), my main goal was to be in business so I took it as my first course. I have a foundational knowledge of bookkeeping, economy, and management.
I initially omitted this from my narrative thinking it was just empty business 101s. But I’ve realized that looking back at where we’ve been is just as important as the road ahead.
So, no, my career trajectory hasn’t been a random leap; I’ve been on my way here all along, strolling every street on purpose, leading me precisely where I am meant to be.
how it all began
My journey started in 2018 when I worked online as an ESL tutor, teaching Japanese students while still pursuing my degree as a professional teacher. Balancing work and studies was challenging, so I temporarily paused to focus on finishing my degree.
Fast forward to 2020, when the world came to a halt during the pandemic, and everything seemed uncertain, I saw an opportunity to create something meaningful with what I had: a laptop, an internet connection, and a desire to build something of my own. What began as a simple passion for designing lesson presentations eventually grew into a business that I proudly built from scratch, driven by creativity and determination.
the mission behind my brand
In 2021, I started working with home improvement service providers on their social media strategies. My goal was clear: to support them in growing their online presence without compromising their personal lives. I understood the long hours and dedication they poured into making a positive impact on their clients, and I wanted to ensure their digital marketing would be one less thing for them to worry about.
As my services expanded to include complete website optimization and other design solutions, I focused on helping these businesses achieve more with less effort, maximizing their digital marketing outcomes and covering a larger part of their sales process to drive profitability.
At its core, my brand is about simplifying the marketing process for home improvement service providers, empowering them to focus on what they do best: creating beautiful spaces and making a difference in their clients’ lives.
